Shorwell has won the Best Kept Medium Sized Village award as well as the 2013 Overall Winner award.

The Parish Council wish to thank all those who assisted in raising money for the improvements to the Village Hall and Recreation Ground, and all those local residents who looked after their gardens and helped to keep the area neat and tidy.

There is a total of £325 in cash and vouchers as part of the prize and the Parish Council would like to hear from residents with ideas on how this can be spent to further improve the area.
